Privacy policy

Your listening is yours.

Last updated 5 July 2026 · applies to the Suha web app and store apps.

The short version

Suha has no ads, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. Everything you do — favorites, playlists, bookmarks, listening positions, downloads — lives on your device. The only personal data Suha can ever hold is the email address of the Apple or Google account you sign in with, and only if you choose to turn on sync.

Data on your device

Your library and settings are stored locally (browser storage / app storage). Downloaded audio is cached on your device for offline listening. None of it leaves your device unless you sign in to sync.

If you turn on sync

Signing in with Apple or Google (Suha never sees a password and sends no emails) stores your favorites, playlists, bookmarks, listening positions, and reading settings against your account so your other devices can load them. This data is held by our database provider (Supabase, hosted in the EU), is encrypted in transit, and is protected so that only your signed-in devices can read it. It is never sold, shared, or used for anything except showing you your own library.

Deleting your data

Settings → Account → Delete account permanently erases your account and every synced record, immediately. Your on-device library stays on your device. You can also email suha.audio.app@gmail.com for any privacy request.

Content services

Quran text and translations come from quran.com; recitation audio streams from the public reciter archive mp3quran.net. Requests to it carry the usual technical data any web request carries (your IP address); Suha adds no identifiers to them.

Children

Suha is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone beyond the optional sync email.

Changes

If our practices ever change, this page and the store privacy labels change with them, and the last-updated date above moves.
